the 3.16 event was a great success! congratulations!!
on the march 16th, it was big day in soka calendar. it was the first youth for peace interfaith symposium day! the event was held at the Singapore Expo Hall 4. many people came, a total of 4 thousand plus people came. the speaker for this event was mr George Yeo, minster for foreign affairs. and other religious representatives also gave a speech. some were humorous while some were quite bored. Mr George Yeo speech was like so long, i was sitting down there sleeping halfway through his speech. haha. after all the talking, it was time for performance. there were all together 3 items and all of them were very nice. (: really enjoyed the event very much! after the symposium, i get to meet simin and her family and we took the same train to tanah merah. after that we went our separate routes.
i also want to thank limei for sending me all the photos, fenlyn (not sure h1ow to spell her name. hehe) for for accompanying me for the past few days and simin & her family for giving me so much encouragement!
